Synopsis

With the beginning of -Iraqi war a hospital in Khoramshar is surrounded by the Iraqi army and is being attacked from both land and sky. Jahan Ara the young leader of the s wants the injures and the rest of the women and doctors to get out of the hospital with an ambulance. But in the way the Iraqis attack them and some getting killed and few are saved. The few rescued people scatter around the city not finding the way to the 's side. Among them is the driver of the ambulance, doctor Kasra, a widow, a captain, a man who constantly think of surrendering to the Iraqis so he can save his money, and a nurse Hanieh who brought two infants with herself. An Iraqi officer who has been captured is with them too.—Ibrahim

«سرزمین خورشید»، فیلمی در ژانر اکشن-جنگی و درام به نویسندگی و کارگردانی «احمدرضا درویش» و محصول سال 1375 است. داستان این فیلم در بستر جنگ تحمیلی روایت می شود. با شروع جنگ، بیمارستانی در خرمشهر به محاصره دشمن درمی آید و از هوا و زمین مورد هجوم قرار می گیرد. «محمد جهان آرا»، فرمانده جوان سپاه خرمشهر، پیشنهاد می کند مجروحان و پزشکان با یک آمبولانس و لندرور، به دنبال جیپ به غنیمت گرفته شده که در آن رزمندگان راه را باز می کنند، از بیمارستان خارج شوند. در شهر، نیروهای عراقی که در حال تسخیر شهر هستند، مقابل آنها ظاهر می شوند و رزمندگان برای نجات دادن سرنشینان آمبولانس و لندرور، با عراقی ها درگیر می شوند و کشته می شوند و سرنشینان لندرور نیز به اسارت گرفته یا کشته می شوند. سرنشینان آمبولانس که نجات یافته اند، در اطراف شهر سرگردان می شوند و راه را گم می کنند ...
