Synopsis

Hossein Moradi, a 60-year-old worker from Abadani, has had to fire many of his colleagues at the shipbuilding company several times at the request of his employer. But this time he has decided to leave it to luck by drawing lots. One of the workers protests his dismissal and quarrels with Hossein. A few days later, when Hossein's grandson is born, Hossein's children give him and their mother two tickets to travel to India.

حسین مرادی، کارگر ۶۰ ساله ی آبادانی، بارها مجبور بوده تعدادی از همکارانش در شرکت کشتی سازی را بنابر خواست کارفرما اخراج کند. ولی این بار تصمیم گرفته که با قرعه کشی، بختی برای برخی از کارگرها قائل شود. در این میان یکی از کارگرها به اخراج خود اعتراض می کند و با حسین گلاویز می شود . چند روز بعد که نوه ی پسری حسین به دنیا می آید فرزندان حسین دو بلیط برای سفر به هند به او و مادرشان هدیه می دهند و…
