Abbas Kiarostami

Biography

Abbas Kiarostami was an influential Iranian film director, screenwriter and photographer whose film Taste of Cherry won the Palme d'Or at Cannes. He is widely regarded as one of the most important figures of the Iranian New Wave.

عباس کیارستمی کارگردان، فیلم‌نامه‌نویس و عکاس تأثیرگذار ایرانی بود که فیلم او طعم گیلاس برنده نخل طلای جشنواره کن شد. او یکی از مهم‌ترین چهره‌های موج نوی سینمای ایران به شمار می‌رود.
